A satellite image taken on 20 February 2016 shows Cyclone Winston as it approaches the islands of Vanua Levu and Viti Levu in Fiji. Cyclone Winston was one of the most powerful storms ever recorded in the Southern Hemisphere. Some researchers believe climate change is one factor that contributed to the storm’s intensity.
