KABUL, 14 January 2009 (IRIN Radio) -

Fears are growing in Kabul of the spread of rabies, with the increasing number of rabid dogs roaming densely populated residential areas. If a person is bitten by a rabid dog it can prove fatal. The city’s municipal authorities are looking at ways of controlling the stray dogs. IRIN's Ahmad Zia Entezar reports.
