A group of men watches from the Congolese town of Mobayi-Mbongo as houses are burned in the neighbouring town of Mobaye, in the Central African Republic. Both towns lie on the Ubangi river. The burning of houses occurred during an offensive of one armed group against another.BACKGROUND INFORMATION:The number of Central African refugees in neighbouring countries stood at 513,676 as of 15 September 2017. This was the highest number of CAR refugees since the start of the crisis in 2013.
