  • Donor club OECD ranks donors by the amount of overseas aid they provide relative to their wealth. The US, although the largest donor in dollar terms, is in the lower half of OECD donors ranked by generosity. If the US were to cut its aid by about a third ($12 billion), it would rank last in the list, below Poland.
